“creating a painting for the Archibald prize” over 2 weeks I paint a portrait of a man I knew as a child, my childhood dog Elvis and a puppet to the right who represents a spirit body I believe was watching over the process, this painting had a lot of thoughts poured in to it, it’s a 2 by 2m oil painting. The result was not selected to hang in the prize exhibition, but it was a very important practice in my own personal journey. This painting is now in a private collection.
